I'm completely new to this site and I am not a tech savvy guy at all. I was hoping to get advice on the exact Mac Pro configuration I should build in order to use it for HD video editing. I will be importing a wide range of HD footage from DSLRs, GoPros, and a Sony HXR-NX5U. I am pretty good a video editing, but like I said, I have no clue when it comes to what would be the best build for my particular situation.
I'm not going to get crazy with the video editing, I just want a workstation that will keep up and get the job done. I'm looking to save as much money as possible, so any suggestions on the best build would be greatly appreciated. Here is where I am looking to build the Mac Pro.
